About me

Solofounder, former jazz pianist. I build small, sharp tools at the seam between code, creativity, and human connection.

Hi, I'm Marcus.

I build practical digital products: small, sharp tools that help people work smarter, communicate better, and live with a little more freedom and self-responsibility. As a solofounder I do most of it end to end. I design it, write the code, and ship it, usually in public.

Before software I was a jazz pianist, and I still think like one. Most of what I make starts as improvisation and gets refined by playing it in front of real people. I would rather launch something small and true than polish something imaginary, so I ship a lot of small bets and watch closely for the ones that resonate.

What ties it all together is the seam between code, creativity, and human connection: software that helps people relate to each other, and to themselves, a little better. That thread runs through everything I make, from encrypted tools for people who value their privacy to apps that help families build community while they travel.
